The father said in the video, “No matter how long it takes, I’m going to find Him”. This father knew deep in his heart that this was his son, and even though he had been separated from him for over thirty years, love made him keep searching for him. The father never gave up on one day seeing his son again.
A. Love will cause us to keep having HOPE: Despite the time that has passed!
1. Real-life examples of this:
a) Some of us have been praying for loved ones for years but nothing has changed: LOVE CONQUERS TIME
b) For others we have broken relationships, dysfunction, or disparities within our families that have been going on for years yet: LOVE CONQUERS TIME
c) You may have been working on various business plans, dreams, and ideas for years, but they just haven’t seen to pan out: LOVE CONQUERS TIME
d) Like the son in the video, you may have experienced something like loss, pain, hurt, disappointment, abuse, etc. in your life that has left you feeling hurt, lonely, confused, angry, lost, empty, or numb; yet despite the son’s feelings, his earthly father was still looking for him! What a parallel in the spiritual realm! Unlike the earthly father who lost contact with his son for over 30 years, our heavenly Fathers never have lost sight of us-even when life circumstances have us feeling like He has! LOVE CONQUERS TIME!
e) Lastly, like the father in the video, you may feel like you have lost time searching for someone or something dear to you. You have a strong desire to see it come to pass, but as the years keep rolling by, nothing has manifested. Please remember LOVE CONQUERS TIME!

B. When love causes time to catch up with eternity, a shift happens in our lives!
1. In the video, the father who was looking for his son stated (paraphrased), “Son, if you are mine, I would like for you to change your last night to mine.” “I have no other children, and all that I have I want to leave for you.” The son responded by agreeing to change his last name to his fathers if the results proved that he was his father. The DNA results were read and he was the son! Right after the results were read, father and son embraced each other with a hug-that spoke volumes! When I watched this part that's when I started to cry tears of joy for them!!!! God was speaking through this story of father and son’s restoration after 30 years had passed! LOVE CONQUERS TIME!
a) The significance of the father wanting to give his son his last name was that it represented that the son was no longer lost. Our heavenly father operates just like this!
-Romans 8: 16-18, The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
-1 Peter 2:9-10, But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
-When we accept the fellowship of God through his son Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for us, a shift in time and eternity takes place, no longer are we lost, but we are given a place in the family of God! Our father gives us his name and the inheritance of the Kingdom, meaning we reap kingdom benefits on earth and in eternity! LOVE CONQUERS TIME!
b) Today, God wants to shift us to an area where time will no longer have the rule over hope and outlook of the future, rather He wants Love will reign in our lives! The concept of love conquers all was demonstrate through this Paternity Court’s episode because of the testimony that went forth. No matter how long it takes, restoration in the natural and spiritual cannot be restrained by time! Time is a spirit, and it has no dominion over love because God is Love. We serve a God who lives in eternity that watches over His Word in time.
c) Love Conquers Time. Write out your decree as it relates to your expectation of this concept to manifest in your life! Include scriptures within your decree.
