Wise Choice Ministries Inc., along with Sister Tina Burch,  has launched a new community outreach named

ABLE Jacksonville. 

 

ABLE stands for Able, Beyond, Limits & Expectations. ABLE’s target market is young adults ages 18-25 with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

 

ABLE’s mission is to empower young adults with developmental disabilities through life skills training and enriching social activities. The Able Project is fostering independence, confidence, and a sense of community.

We are hosting an open house and informational meeting on Wednesday, January 28th, from 1:00-3:00 PM at Happy Brew, highlighting the vision of ABLE Jacksonville.  We have details about the life skills programs, fun activities, and how attendees can get involved as volunteers. It will also include an overview of upcoming events and provide information on how to support the nonprofit’s goals.
